Yay! Our baby has arrived!!

She was breech for at least the last ten weeks.  We spent the last several weeks of my pregnancy in town just in case I went in to labor early. We wanted to be closer to a hospital. I thought that would be a great time to get some beading done.  Lol. I’m so naive.

As it turns out, those last few weeks were spent going from one appointment to another in an attempt to get the baby to turn.  In addition to a failed version I tried acupuncture, chiropractic adjustments, positive thoughts and some Chinese Medicine. She is stubborn though and I ended up having a c-section a few days before my due date.

I packed up my beading project and took it in to town with great hopes. I even had a passing thought that perhaps I could get some beading done while I was in the hospital. Lol. Reality won out though and I left it in the hotel room.  We ended up buying a gift for my midwife.

I did bring my project back down to the farm though and I hope to get some of it done tonight, baby willing.  She is a cuddler though and I’ve quickly learned how difficult it is to bead with one hand! Once I finish this one I think I am going to have to stick to easier projects for a while!
