It is good to be home…..

Even if home is a relative term. This has been a busy week for me. Much of the past week has been spent cleaning out my life. I’ve been going through things and getting rid of stuff we don’t need. I’ve weeded out a good portion of the kid’s clothes, although you’d never know it by looking at their rooms. I’m trying to collect up the things that Terry left behind when he moved out so that I can give them to him.

I did go to the Gem Faire that was here right after we got back, but I only bought a few things. I had just collected up all of my receipts for last year. Holy moly, I can’t believe I spent that much on beads. I think that this year I am really going to have to cut back, especially since my main source of income right now is from child support.

I picked up several kits while I was up in Oregon that I am looking forward to making. I have two repair jobs for Ethan’s mom, and a couple of kits from my local bead shop that I need to put together.  I will probably put kit items up for sale online somewhere after I complete them.

I’ve got an appointment at my local bead shop for a class tomorrow morning to make a beaded ring. It will be my second attempt at a beaded ring. I like this pattern better because it looks a bit more delicate than the pink one that I made.

So, I have lots of things in the works. It is just a matter of finding the time to sit down,  bead and have some fun.

I’ll have pictures of my beaded ring up tomorrow evening.

A special thanks to Terry who has been my main source of tech support. Hopefully I can figure out how to keep things running smoothly on my own fairly quickly! It will be an interesting transition for sure.
